Equality LIVE! Frequently Asked Questions:
What's this all about?
Equality Forum 2006, a week-long symposium and festival on GLBT civil rights, wraps up with a fantastic outdoor concert on Sunday, May 7, at the Great Plaza at Penn's Landing, Chestnut Street and Columbus Boulevard, on the Delaware River waterfront.
Sounds great! How much is it?
Tickets are only $15 if purchased before May 1, available online or via phone at (877) 725-8849. Late-comer tickets are $20, available starting Thursday, May 4, at the Welcome Center in the Loews Hotel, or at the Great Plaza gate on Sunday, May 7.
How do I get there?
The Great Plaza at Penn's Landing, located on Columbus Boulevard at Chestnut Street, is easily accessible via the Market-Frankford (blue) subway/el line, at 2nd Street. Several bus lines also service the immediate area. Check SEPTA's Web site for details.
If you are driving, Penn's Landing has ample parking in secure lots accessible via Columbus Boulevard. Penn's Landing is within walking distance to the SundayOUT! Street Festival on Market Street.
Can I bring food? Pets? Cameras?
Sorry, no outside food or beverage is allowed. Food, beverage and alcohol vendors are available at the Concert.
Sorry, no pets, with the exception of guide/service animals.
No professional cameras.
What if it rains?
It won't! But if it does, Equality LIVE! is a rain-or-shine event! (Bring an umbrella!)
