JIM IN BOLD
Equality Forum's first feature-length documentary presented the story of Jimmy Wheeler, a gifted teen in rural Pennsylvania who took his own life as a direct result of the homophobia he experienced from his peers. Five years later, representatives from Young Gay America conducted a road trip interviewing out gay and lesbian youth in the Heartland of America, carrying Jimmy's story with them. This touching and inspirational film has garnered many awards at film festivals across the country.
